The first time I was told that due to a lack of classrooms, I would lose mine, I waited until I got home to cry.  I had spent about two months in a room that was beautiful, spacious, and frankly, easy to make music in.  And now it was not mine anymore.

I didn’t know the first thing about going from classroom to classroom to teach music other than it was going to be tiring and soul-sucking.  That much I had gathered from the way other elementary music teachers talked about their experiences- in hushed, drained voices.

After the initial shock faded and my tears were spent, I started to scour the internet for anything or anyone who could help me relearn how to teach music.  I found a few articles here and there and one book but that was it.

This page is designed to be a page solely dedicated to walking through cart challenges and solutions together as a music teaching community.  I will post what little wisdom I have gained. I invite you to do the same.
